What else, besides Photos with some good Extensions, should I look at for editing RAW files / managing large photo libraries / etc.?I miss Aperture. - but they don't seem to do file management very well.What else should I be looking at? Again, I know Lightroom is a popular option, but I honestly thought it was awful - definitely not elegant, reliable, or fast. A few other great RAW processing / editing packages - DxO, Capture One, etc.
Best Photo Management Program Software Designed To![]() Of course there's more expensive stuff like DxO and Capture One, but you need to justify the cost of those - and they still don't support as many Raw formats as Lightroom (such as my Fuji Raws). Mylio - seems popular, but I cannot justify the subscription cost they have (I don't like the subscription model anyway, I own a standalone licence for Lightroom). Emulsion is another - seems a bit lacking though.Those two were recently available in a 'Bundle' offer, although it's obvious to see why Aftershot was included now, as they released the new version a few days later so they could charge those hooked for an upgrade. ![]() ![]()
